Let’s talk about the Suit of Swords in Tarot cards from my perspective, shall we? These cards are all about our mental space – our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes. It’s like looking into a mirror that reflects what’s going on in our minds.

The thing about Swords is they’re like a double-edged sword – quite literally. They represent the delicate balance between our intellect and power. It’s a reminder that these elements can be used for good or evil. To make the best use of Swords, we need to balance them with spirit (think Wands) and emotions (Cups).

Swords are linked to the element of Air, which is pretty fascinating. Air is this unseen force, always moving, sometimes calm, other times a raging wind. It’s this powerful, cleansing presence. Symbolically, Air stands for knowledge, action, change, and power. It’s got this masculine vibe, leading with unseen force and power.

In a regular deck of playing cards, Swords are what we call Spades.

So, what do Swords mean when they pop up in a Tarot reading? They’re all about action, change, and power. There’s a sense of ambition, courage, and conflict. But this action can go both ways – it can be constructive or destructive.

The darker side of Swords? Think anger, guilt, harsh judgment, lack of compassion, and verbal or mental abuse.

Swords Tarot cards are often linked with the Air signs in astrology – Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini. If a Swords Court Card shows up, it’s likely pointing to someone who’s an Aquarius, Libra, or Gemini. These folks are smart, thoughtful, and great at communicating. They’re rational and love to analyze what’s happening around them. But the flip side? They can be pretty ruthless, confrontational, and set in their ways.

What if your Tarot reading is heavy on Swords cards? This usually means you’re dealing with a lot of mental challenges, conflicts, arguments, and tough decisions. There might be some arguments or even violence happening. Swords can bring some intense messages, but they’re also a heads-up to be extra aware of what’s happening around you.
